A consummate professional who sincerely appreciates the nuances of quality craftsmanship, Juergen Christmann has directed engineering construction for a number of premier resort and private properties.  His exceptional industry-wide reputation is based on successfully achieving efficiencies for reducing time and costs while building exceptional results.

Responsible for much more than basic repair and maintenance issues, Mr. Christmanns all-round construction expertise has brought him to some of the most prestigious addresses in the world.  As the Senior Resident Engineer for King Husseins Palace in Aman, Jordan, he directed the maintenance of six royal palaces and two mosques.  While at Mahogany Run in St. Thomas, USVI, Mr. Christmann supervised follow-up construction from the resorts initial development, and managed the grounds and mechanical maintenance for this 450-room, 325-acre luxury property.  As the Corporate Director of Engineering, Mr. Christmann was also a member of the team that opened the Omni Hotels in Atlanta, Miami and Norfolk. 

At The Breakers in Palm Beach, he coordinated the multiple roles of overseeing his departments 150-member staff, directing the facilitys daily service and grounds maintenance, as well as supervising general contractor activities involving over 20 subcontractors with 150 on-site personnel.  Sometimes as many as 15 projects would be occurring simultaneously.  It was here that Mr. Christmann conducted an extensive rooms renovation and new construction program, building a new spa, beach club and ballroom, and reinforcing the buildingss 70 year-old infrastructure.  All of this was completed without disrupting the daily activities of the hotel which was filled with discriminating guests.
Mr. Christmann has since brought his impeccable talents to the Sea Island Company, where he is once again overseeing both new development and the delicate preservation of a historic grand hotel.

Bilingual in German and English, Mr. Christmann graduated from the Berlin-Kreuzberg School, a professional engineering preparatory school, and received his certification as Professional Engineer from the University of Berlin (Beuth) in Germany.
